About Emmy

Emmy Null is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Creative Writing.

She lives with her husband, Jacob, and their two dogs, Onyx and Gert, in Olathe, Kansas. Outside of writing, she likes remodeling homes, doing pottery, and baking.

Her debut memoir, Something Beautiful, was published in February 2025 by Global Publishing Agency. In it, Emmy writes about her tumultuous childhood in a religious household — exploring themes of family, faith, betrayal, and the secrets we are told to keep.

Emmy’s blog, Vitamin E, features personal essays, short stories, and movie reviews. She writes with honesty, humor, and heart about the ordinary and extraordinary moments that shape who we are.
